Until I got here, it wasn't ridiculous at all. It was Natural. Normal. Expected, I guess? Nobody looked at me like that in my world. Well. Nobody I wanted to, at least.

This place has changed much for many of us, despite the strangeness that often occurs.

It has, yes. Mostly in removing the sense of propriety, but I can't say I completely hate it. Not anymore, no. But there's nobody here who I was afraid of, either, so that's good.

Well, there's the illusion of propriety as maintained by our hosts and their staff, if nothing else.
