Armand is sick. He needs to keep his strength up.

[ there's a lot that has gone unspoken about armand in the height of all this - there's a lot he has to figure out, but some of his time away from lestat's side has been with armand, keeping him warm and keeping him close. ]

[ he almost admits that he's not sure armand will survive without being given the blood again, but surely louis has considered that for himself already. ]

I've been observing him, as much as he'd rather I wasn't. Though I know he has others who are concerned for his well-being.

[ he's not entirely convinced that this isn't the least of what armand deserves, but he's also not relishing watching the older vampire suffer. ]

What he did was wrong. But we were together seventy years, Lestat. Doesn't forgive what he did - but if anyone's gotta stick together through this it would be us. Vampires, from where we are. He doesn't deserve this.

[ maybe armand deserves many things for his actions, but louis can't help but want to protect those in their broken, strange coven. ]

Your intentions are admirable. And I'm sure he would prefer your attentions, in most cases, over mine.

Don't know about that, but I figure he'd do the same if either of us were in his position.
